I received the following error message while simulating a 3rd party op amp TSZ182IQ2T model in PSpice For Ti. The issue is that despite using less than 3 markers, I get this error message and am unable to simulate.
I have previously faced a similar problem for TPS61023 and have asked about the same in Power Management Forum which can be found in the following link:
I posted it separately here in the simulation forum since I feel it's a problem of the software and not of the device.
Please look into this and try to resolve this soon.
Thank You,

Hi JC,
Before sharing the project, I decided to retry once again and found that I can only use one marker at a time and not two(despite the error message saying that I can use a maximum of 3) and hence found out dB and phase separately in two different simulations but still couldn't find noise as it's trace is not available in the trace window.
Also, if I save the project with one marker in it's output and close the application. After re-running it, I found that at the first the same error message pops up(despite one marker). I remove the marker and try simulating without no marker and still it's the same. Then when I re-add the dB or phase marker to it, it does work and we get an output, but it is only one output at a time just like I mentioned in the last paragraph. I have feel that this is a bug or something.
Since I can't send the original circuit with you, I send you a similar model project that has the same problem in it attached to this:
To verify the simulation, I also attached the output dB waveform below(that I got after 3 attempts, first with 1 marker and error message, then without any markers and error msg and finally re-adding the same dB marker and it ran successfully) and the schematic diagram as well:
Also don't forget to add the library file of the 3rd party op-amp TSZ182IQ2T in the library configuration files of your simulation settings. The link of the model's spice file is:
www.st.com/.../tsz182_macromodel.zip

Hi Srinjay,
I cannot duplicate your problem. The archived project is attached here:
TSZ1821QT-2021-05-11T21-43.zip
And here's the schematic and waveform:
Thanks,
JC
Hi JC,
When I opened the attached file, there was a message of version mismatch initially as shown:
Later on when I tried running the simulation, the same old problem repeats i.e. an error message initially and while I close that error message window and re-run the simulation it works. It is shown in the following pics:
First attempt
Second attempt
Third attempt: I tried adding a 4th marker to the design and found out that the 4th marker is ignored and the plots of the rest 3 markers are shown:
Also, most importantly the noise plots are still not available as shown:
I strongly feel this is a problem of the software and definitely not of the model, maybe due to the different versions and the subsequent version mismatch as I mentioned earlier in this reply. My version is the latest 2021.1 version as shown below:
Please look into this matter as it consumes a lot of time and stalls our development. Also, specifically help us out in finding the noise analysis of this circuit as despite multiple attempts, we still can't plot the noise trace for the third party model.
Thank You,

Srinjay Bhattacharya
Hi Srinjay,
Was that first screenshot taken when you open the project I sent on 5/11? The zip file name is TSZ1821QT-2021-05-11T21-43.zip.
Thanks,
JC
Hi JC,
I downloaded the new file you gave on the last reply and thankfully it doesn't contain any version mishap.
Still the major problem persits: no option for trace of noise analysis as shown below:
Please atleast try to find a way in which we can find the noise analysis as all other parameters are more or less obtained earlier but this is left and is a very vital parameter for our development.
Thank You,
With Regards,
Srinjay Bhattacharya
Hi Srinjay,
This is likely a limitation with noise analysis. I'll confirm by tomorrow.
Thanks,
JC
Hi Srinjay,
We've duplicated the problem. The developers are reviewing it.
Thanks,
JC
Hi Srinjay,
Would you please check your analysis tab in the sim profile?
Does it look like this?
Also, would you mind sharing your .cir file (in the simulation directory)?
Thanks,
JC
