When the advertisements of the slave node stops, the master will generate a synclost event, but in some cases, the advertisements stops, but the master does not have a synclost event. What is the reason?

When the slave is in discontinuous advertisement, how does the master perform aoa positioning, and if it can be achieved, what is the process?

Please help.

There is a sync-timeout duration. As long as the timeout is not reached, the synchronization is not considered as lost.

[For connectionless-AoA] AoA calculation is possible only when the target is sending out periodic advertisements - because the CTEs are appended to the periodic Adv PDUs.
If the target stops advertising, the locator will lose the synchronization. When the target will be back advertising, the locator will have to go through the synchronization process before managing to receive periodic advertisements and do AoA calculation.

For connectionless AOA, target advertise, the locator will choose synchronization, will this event be triggered? In my actual test, whether there is a situation where the advertise stops and the synchronization event does not trigger.

Hi,

As mentioned before, the event will be triggered only after timeout expiration. With that being said I am not sure this event is transmitted to the host.
