CC2564C: CC2564C

Part Number: CC2564C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2564

Please help! ...

I've tried so much already.. but the codec in the CC2564C refuses to come to life.
Makes not much sense to play with it on your LaunchPad with corresponding BoosterPacks.
So I'm doing it on the target PCB, highly integrated.. (This is a special mobile feature phone for blind people etc)
Without PAN1326 module on PCB - I checked the PCM interface AIF3 of the host codec WM8958.
Scope: Yep, everything there - and at right frequencies.

With the PAN module on the PCB (no chance to connect PCM pins anymore): Always completely zero, absolutely nothing living on PCM.
I can muddle around in the WM8958 via I²C--USB access by WISCE software.

"Testing is above studying." :) I've tried so much to kick the CC2564C codec's ass. It remains a "potato". :) (:
I also inhaled a lot of threads in your forum, unfortunately mostly without a clear outcome.
.. spiced with anger about the disability caused by the shutdown of the web server in mid-January ..

Screenshot in the attached figure: I'm "abusing" a modified hcitool to "feed" the chip. I'm quite sure, it works.

Firmware: TIInit_6.12.26.bts

Please give me a push to bring the codec in your chip into life.

Thanks in advance
Tom
