Question about CC2540 development

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2540

Hi All!

I am very new in microcontroller development, and I have a device: CC2540F256RHAT ( 10 devices) and the Mini Development Kit for CC2540,  I was able to run the development kit based on the documentation but now I want to program in small devices ( CC2540F256RHAT  ), but do not know how to pass information to them, I need additional components? what are those components? There is some documentation to help me with this?

Thanks for your time.

  • You will need to solder the CC2540 IC onto a PCB with the debug pins exposed on a header, similar to the keyfob board. If you do not plan to design your own PCB, we would recommend that you either purchase additional kits from us with fully working boards, or you purchase a CC2540 module from a 3rd party. Here are a couple of links to companies that make CC2540 modules:

  • OK, thank you very much :)
