LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: Error defining variable

Hi,

I am new to coding on the CC2640R2.

My task is to use the Simple_broadcaster project to advertise via a non connectable beacon, but the advertising packets can change within run time.

I used this https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/bluetooth-group/bluetooth/f/bluetooth-forum/716072/ccs-launchxl-cc2640r2-dynamic-adjust-advertising-data-for-simple-broadcaster as a reference and tried to run this code. However i get an issue with INTERVAL being undefined and wondered where i would define it and what it should be defined as within this type of C syntax.

Hi Josh,

I have looked at the code you are referring to. To me the symbol "INTERVAL" is only used for display and was specific to the user's case. So you probably do not need this symbol.

If needed, you could define the symbol like this:

#define INTERVAL 100

Hi i have run the code with no errors however it still does not update the packets of data. how do i do this?

Make sure to specify the SDK version, the stack used (ble5stack or blestack) and to describe the changes you have implemented.
