MSP430 + USB + Bluetooth?

hello,

If signals should be sent from medical sensors to a Blackberry via USB and ANT+Bluetooth, which MSP430 would be the best? I have developed two concepts:

1. MSP430F5438 e.g. with a external USB host controller Vinculum of FDTI and an external bluetooth modul (maybe the new http://www.ti.com/ww/de/analog/ant_ble/index.shtml ?)

2. MSP430F55xx with integrated USB
Does TI has a chip integrating MSP430 + USB + Bluetooth all together?

Which concept should I take?

Yue,

The bluetooth stack is currently only supported on the MSP430BT5190, which is an MSP430F5438. It is not possible to use the MSP430 with integrated USB. Therefore, your first solution will be the appropriate one.

If I want to add the bluetooth modul, I have to take the MSP430F5438.

And what about the ANT+Bluetooth of TI? Can it be applied in this case?

Yue,

The BT+ANT platform is described here in detail. I believe it will answer your questions and yes, it also uses the MSP430 BT device (note that you cannot use MSP430F5438, you need to get the BT version).
