CC2541DK-MINI: Problems flashing the CC2540EMK-USB

I just bought a new CC Debugger as it looks as if the original one was bricked (& as yet unrecoverable) and upgraded the Debugger to the latest version.

The CC2541DK-USB works with BTool but not the Sniffer.

Both the SmartRF Flash Programmer & SmartRF Studio 7 don't see the CC2541DK-USB.

Is there a way to test if the Debug port on the CC2541DK-USB is functional or do I have to purchase a new CC2541DK-USB?

Hi Bevan,

Make sure the CC2540EMK-USB is plugged in and powered before connecting your CC-DEBUGGER, whose light should be green before you attempt to program the firmware you want (packet sniffer hex images are located under C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\Packet Sniffer\bin\general\firmware once you've downloaded PACKET-SNIFFER)
