Hi everybody,

I hope this message finds you well

My question is about Uniflash. I used to use it to connect to my Launchpad and be able to "erase all flash". We were using this launchpad as external programmer to our Bluetooth modules.

However, our newest prototype will use JLINK interface and I cannot use Uniflash anymore.

So, my question is, how do I do the equivalent operation of "erasing all flash" with the Jlink for CC26X2R-based modules? Maybe some command line instruction? Maybe some GUI from SEGGER?

Hi kazola,

I don't believe TI tools like FLASH-PROGRAMMER, UNIFLASH, or CCSTUDIO support SEGGER J-LINK. Have you considered trying SEGGER software tools or SIMPLELINK-OPENOCD?

Well, CCStudio for sure it supports it since I have used for other projects!

I am just looking for a way to do an erase flash with J-LInk. Sometimes command line ways require some sketchy parameters I will check these links. Meanwhile, let's see if someone comes up with the solution. Meanwhile I will also check this

If it works with CCStudio, could you use the Debug Configuration -> Target -> Flash Settings to erase Al Unprotected Sectors and then Skip all Sectors during Program Load? I've never tried this before and CCStudio does not have an easy standalone erase option. This may be a question for the Code Composer Studio Forum.
