CC2564MODN: pairing timeout

Hi,

I'm using the CC2564MODN w/ TI stack and trying to pairing to my smartphone using secure simple pairing (I just have to tap yes / no on the smartphone to confirm / reject the pairing).

I'd like to know if there is a connection parameter that allows to increase pairing timeout.

If I don't tap yes / no on the smartphone, after 30s I receive an atSecureSimplePairingComplete event from GAP event callback (SecureSimplePairing status: 5. What is '5'? Is there a error code list to help me decode the error code?

I don't understand if the timeout is generated by the smartphone or is managed by the stack.

Is there a way to modify it?

Hi Alessandro,

Are you running a certain demo? Is this Bluetooth classic or BLE? I can provide better details with that information.

I believe the "5" you see is an authentication error code: "HCI_ERROR_CODE_AUTHENTICATION_FAILURE."

I believe timeout is set in the configuration files, and I am not sure it can be increased.
