CC2541: Stack Version

Hi,

I inherited a BLE 4.0 software running on CC2541. I have the BLE stack libraries and the source code with header files. I browsed through all the files but I can't identify the actual BLE stack library version information. Please let me know the way to identify the BLE 4.0 stack version number.

If I can pull the version number from a header file, that would be great. Please point me to the file. Thanks

Hi Dennis,

If you look in the computer's C:\Texas Instruments folder for Windows (I'm confident the path is similar for Mac or Unix, probably Texas Instruments folder near the home directory), you should see the SDK source they pulled from. This should give you the version number.

For example, here is a picture of mine. I have two SDK's for CC254X devices as seen in the screenshot.

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for the information. The "Projects" folder checked into our configuration management repository is one layer lower than the BLE-CC254x-x.x.x folder therefore I have no version information. The BLE application was released on 10/20/2014 (the libraries have the date of June 2 2014) therefore we could use either 1.4.0 or 1.3.2 SDK. Can I get links to download and extract both 1.4.0 and 1.3.2 SDKs?

I can do a hex compare to see if the libraries I have are matched.

Hi Dennis,

Our archive is here, but I don't see a 1.3.2 version. The earliest I see is 1.4.0.
