CC2650MODA: Maximum throughput and distance range

Hi,

I have a LAUNCHXL-F28379D and am currently using USB to transfer data to a computer (using the USB0DP and USB0DM connections).

I am currently looking into using Bluetooth to transfer data, possibly the CC2650MODA. I just cannot seem to figure out what the maximum throughput is of the CC2650? Using a USB cable, I have a throughput of about 5Mbps, and am looking to accomplish the same throughput with Bluetooth. 

I am also wondering what the distance range is of this bluetooth module? And if I put it in an aluminum container, will I need an external antenna?
