CC2642R: iOS BLE Cache issue on OAD Process

Part Number: CC2642R

Hey team,

In our iOS app we are using CC262R and we have trouble about OAD process. Here this is the process that we follow;

 - Scan and connect the Hardware with F0150 services

 - Write 1 to Reset Characteristic

 - And app blows and goes to Persistent App (Changed Local Name and Changed Services with FFC0). So far, no problem.

 The problem is iOS BLE doesn't see the Persistent App after the process because of the cache issue. We have to manually switch off/on the Bluetooth but its not OK for user experiences.

Any efficient solution ?

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

    I am afraid you won't get answers from actual iOS experts on this forum. Maybe you should rather contact iOS' support for this kind of question.

    One element you may want to try, is to set iOS in active scan mode. Then, on the CC2642R, make sure to provide the device full name in the scan response.

    Best regards,
