CC2652R: SDKv4.10: Can not open Simple Peripheral On-Chip OAD at IAR for ARM version 8.50.6

Part Number: CC2652R

Hi,

According to SDKv4.10 the example programs can be opened using IAR for ARM v8.50.1. I am using IAR for ARM v8.50.6 and I am not able to open the Simple Peripheral On-Chip OAD example programs. It says the program was made using a newer version of the product and can not be opened.

  • Hi,

We recommend IAR Embedded Workbench: EWARM-8.50.1 for CC13x2-26x2 SDK 4.10.This SDK version did not get tested for the IAR version you are using.

    Best regards,

  • Hi Clement,

The message says the program was made using a newer version of the product, meaning greater than version 8.50.6. Anyway, I will re-install SDKv4.10 and see if I get the same message.

I would rather suggest to stay with IAR for ARM v8.50.1 which seems to be working properly for you and is recommended by TI.

To be clear, this issue should rather be reported to IAR than here. The only answer we can provide here is "use the recommended IAR version".

I know this is not the answer you were expecting but this is the only one I can provide.

    Thank you for your comprehension.

I don't have IAR for ARMv8.50.1 installer, so I would not know if it works.

So, I ask here first. I always ask here.

Anyway, I will just mark this post as answered.
