LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: Audio Streaming over BLE, Audio Acquisition using Controller, Microphone selection

I want to interface the microphone with a microcontroller and transmit those microphone signals over BLE for live audio streaming. However I don't know if it is feasible and viable to use LAUNCHXL-CC2640.

Should i use this controller to acquire signals from the microphone. also is there any boards of TI which comes along with microphone inbuild and BLE audio stream support?

You may want to review our audio examples for CC2640R2F on GitHub.

Additionally, it may make sense to review the possibilities we offer for CC2642R (LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1) in the SimpleLink Audio Plugin (see here).

In all the cases, I would recommend to leverage the CC3200AUDBOOST. This boosterpack should be set on the launchpad selected. Please consult the product page of the CC3200AUDBOOST for more details.
