If the customer is using CC2564C, I recommend the STM32 Bluetooth 5.1 stack. This is our latest stack and has host and profile updates certified up to Bluetooth 5.1. Is there a reason the customer wants to use a 4.0 stack?

When the customer runs the "Inquiry" command from the SPPDemo, do they see any available Bluetooth devices?

Actually they have tried version 5.1, but the phone still can't find it.

The program seems to be executing the BTPS_ProcessScheduler command constantly.  Could you help guide how to know that the program runs to the "Inquiry" command? Do they need to check their device with phone while it is running?

By "application logs," I just mean the output the customer sees when running the application. For example, when the customer runs an example from our Bluetopia STM32 5.1 Stack in the Keil or IAR IDE, what do they see as the output when they run the "Inquiry" command? Do they see the Bluetooth address of the mobile phone they want to connect to?

In the example, they may want to refer to the SetDiscoverabilityMode, SetConnectabilityMode, and SetPairabilityMode to allow the STM32 to be discovered easier by other devices.

Hi Cherry,

The customer will know which command is running because the application will require the user to type the command in the prompt. In the image above, you can see the "command options" which are all of the available commands to the user.

Is this image "tera term"? 

When using micro usb to connect stm32f4 and computer, the COM port cannot be found.

Yes this image is Tera Term, but the customer can use any UART terminal.

If no COM port is found, the customer may need a specific driver for the STM32. If the link I provided is not the correct driver, the customer may need to contact ST Micro.

Hi Jacob,

When VCP is started with the usb_device of midleware in CubeMX, VCP can be used on the computer through micro usb. While the VCP is not shown when using SPPDemo, the customer would like to know if cannot use mini usb or micro usb to connect, if not, how to resolve it?

I'm not familiar with VCP, is that a serial console application? Is the customer able to successfully program the STM32 board? If they are, they should be able to use a serial console program to view the application prints.

Thanks for your help on this issue!

They can download the program to the development board. But here's no new devices in COM and LPT. The customer would like to know which cable should be used to connect the PC to the STM32 development.
