CC2640R2F: Is there a way to tell what power mode the processor is in?

I'm debugging standby mode on a processor and I'm having a hard time telling what power mode the processor is in. Is there a register that tells me what power mode the processor is in while debugging? I've seen the glitches while using the register_notify functions available. I really need a way to be able to see in real time what mode the processor is in.

Hi Ian,

With the right hardware, it would be possible to use EnergyTrace++ to monitor a timelapse of power mode activity. Table 6-6 of the TRM gives an example sequence for what registers are changed to set the device into Standby Mode. Since this state can only be entered when the MCU is idle (i.e. no active tasks running), you can also use the ROV to further determine the task activity. Please review the BLE-Stack Debugging Guide and TI Drivers Power Management document for more information.
