CC2652RB: Configuring Sensor Controller to Run Non-Continuously

Part Number: CC2652RB

Hello,

We are running a single task from the Sensor Controller Studio that samples an ADC channel and should maintain a bit-vector that indicates whether the ADC value from an analog hall effect sensor is below a low threshold or above a high threshold. We have reviewed available references for integrating the SCIF driver into our CCS application. However, everything that we have seen has been for running the task continuously. We would like to be able to run the task only for a specific time when requested and also be able to just poll and read the current value from the sensor.

We are looking for information about using the Sensor Controller in this non-continuous fashion as well as some information about when the CtrlReadyCallback and TaskAlertCallback are used.

Are there references that we might be missing that include more information on these topics?
