CC2652R: dmm: bluetooth central + zigbee coordinator

Part Number: CC2652R

Hello,

I want to make a project where a launchpad CC26X2R1 connects with other launchpads as a bluetooth central and as a zigbee coordinator. In the dmm_zc_switch example it is coordinator but peripherial. It its possible to modify it in order to accomplish that?

Thank you.

  • Hello Dani,

Please review TI's stance on the matter through these relevant E2E threads:

    https://e2e.ti.com/f/1/t/1018817
    https://e2e.ti.com/f/1/t/916748

In summary, it is possible to develop this solution but TI does not test/validate such a configuration.  Be aware that each role is responsible for forming and maintaining the connections of its respective network, and therefore would ideally have majority radio control at all times.  Since this is not possible for a single-radio approach, dual-radio/dual-device solutions will always be more reliable and robust.
