This feels like a generic response. I've already looked at that document, and it was unclear how I would use any of those APIs that are listed on pg. 97 and beyond to add a new SDP entry to expose a new service that my device provides. It seems that the SDP entries are built at compile time (I didn't see any dynamic allocation at first glance) in the db_gen.c file (along with some defines in the db_gen.h file).
If, in fact, you do use the calls listed in this document to expose new services via SDP, could you please provide an example? It's pretty obvious that I'm not going to figure it out from this document ...
Secondly, does TI have a description of what the db_gen.c and db_gen.h files are doing and how I would add new SDP entries to those files? The way it's setup (and the comments that are there) lead me to believe that this is where new entries should be inserted....
