CC2652P: Tx Power out / Range problem

Part Number: CC2652P
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-CC1352P1, SYSCONFIG, , AWR1642

Hello TI,

We have been checking our slaves in Vehicle environment and we have problem for the slaves to send signals inside the vehicle from outside.
I suspect the power of sensors might not be enough to send it inside.

Currently as you can see in the picture

The default Tx Power is set to "0". High PA is selected and Tx power is set to "10".

Are these settings enough for the High Power 10 DBM power settings.

But at this settings also I see power issues/ weak signal.

1. Can you please let me know the Difference between Above Default Tx Power and Tx Power ?

2. Also when I expand the default Tx power section I see parameters ranging from -20 to +5. Can I know the use of this. I also read somewhere about Backoff power is this concept used here i.e. if I use -20 then will I have 12- (-20) = 32 DBm power ?? Refer below attached Image

3. I WANT MORE POWER SUCH THAT MY SIGNALS CAN PENETRATE THE THICK METEL SHEETS. Can you suggest something.

Regards,
Ankit Tomar
