Where to get a minimal package with the latest BTool?

I want to distribute to my users a minimal package with BTool. Up to now I asked them to install the BLE SDK (~200MB), (simplelink_SDK was too big (~900MB))

For the latest instalment I was hoping to get it from the latest SDK I could find (ble_sdk_2_02_07_06\tools\btool) but there I get only version 1.41.1 while with simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_6_10_00_29 I get version 1.42.20

Is this the right way to distribute BTool?

    Hello Krs,

    the BLE SDK for the BLE stack 2.x is the support package for the CC2640/2650. This package is not updated as often as the newer products supported by the SimpleLink CC13xx CC26xx SDK.Therefore, the BLE SDK you recommended so far will eventually receive the latest btool as well, just not as frequent.

    The SimpleLink-CC2640R2-SDK is similar to the BLE SDK, smaller and less frequent updates.

    If your users need to have the latest version of btool, they need to install the simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk package.

    Thank you for the answer, we will distribute the simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk.

    But please take into consideration that some users only want BTool. This installation is quite big (especially because of SSD and the recommended C drive), and it also takes quite some time. These are even more problematic on laptops. only BTo

    Ideally I would like to distribute a minimal installation package. If notol then even the BLE SDK would be an option.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. Our SDK team is working on improving the SDK and its distribution.
    Unfortunately I cannot give you a timeline for this.

    If your users only require the btool and no functionality of the rest of the SDK, they may try installing it to another drive to reduce memory usage.
