CC1352P: Connection and Reconnection Issues

Please provide info regarding which SDK you are using, which examples from the SDK you are running, and also if you see the same problem if you use a CC2652P device as RX instead of a CC1352P.

We are using 4 custom boards CC2652P Tx and 1 CC1352P LaunchPad Rx.
SDK 5.1 on TX 4.1 on RX. We are using launchpad for CC1352P as Rx.

This 20 sec is constant anytime we disconnect and reconnect in below Requested Conn. Timeout (ms) say 250ms in our case the Launchpad takes 20 sec to reconnect backend that to after disconnection and reconnection BACK.

Which examples from the SDK are you using?

Sorry for delay it will take some time for the Sniffer Logs.

Meanwhile I checked that the Supervision Timeout which I set to 250ms is not working instead its by default taking 20 seconds to disconnect and reconnect back.

UPDATE: I checked by disabling the Update parameter request from TX Side. And the results are once I disconnect the Sensors the RX is showing the connection enabled till 20 seconds. I kept supervision timeout as 3 seconds but its still taking default 20 seconds to disconnect.
I want it to disconnect as soon as possible (in Milliseconds). 
Also I just checked that the supervision time I only see is 
// Default connection supervision timeout when connecting to more then 8 connections and autoconnect enabled
#define DEFAULT_MULTICON_LSTO 3200

So where can we set the supervision timeout which is currently set t0 20 somewhere I cannot find it.

Dear Ankit,

Try setting the supervision timeout (INIT_PHYPARAM_DFLT_SUP_TIMEOUT) using GapInit_setPhyParam() or by changing its value in our latest SDK.

I was unable to change the default supervision timeout. So I did the following changes and this worked for me, but is this recommended ?

In Simple_central.c inside SimpleCentral_doAutoConnect() function I changes the following - 

Inside this function we have a case wherein if the max number of connections are more than 8 then changed parameters are used.

if ((autoConnect) && (MAX_NUM_BLE_CONNS > 8))

I changed the parameters to

if ((autoConnect) && (MAX_NUM_BLE_CONNS < 5))

In this case my settings defined as macros are used so I changed the parameters like  DEFAULT_MULTICON_LSTO  and this worked for me.

Now currently I am changing the old condition function and doing the same but from where can I change the supervision timeout for max sensors not more than 4 for not more than 4 it is always 20 by default.

Hi Ankit,

I meant to set using  GapInit_setPhyParam() the following value : INIT_PHYPARAM_SUP_TIMEOUT, and not INIT_PHYPARAM_DFLT_SUP_TIMEOUT, as I said previously. My mistake.

Are you still unable to set it "the correct way" with the correct macro?

I am a bit unsure as to how safe those code modifications would be.
