CC2650STK: Increasing frequency of accelerometer data

Hi.

I am working on a project that needs more than 10Hz sampling frequency. While checking the forum, I saw suggestions on updating the firmware of SensorTag to increase output frequency. But I can't find any proper documentation on how to do this. Can someone please help me.

So, I am using Raspberry Pi to read data from SensorTag using Python script. I hope an upgradation to firmware wont affect this. Can someone help me here.

You can try to change sensorPeriod in sensortag_mov.c to read sensor data more frequently.

Thanks. Is there a proper document on how to upgrade the firmware after updating this ?. I am totally stuck on how to send the updated firmware to the SensorTag

Thanks. So I have updated the sensorperiod in app and for compiling I build stack first and then the app. The stack bulid was succesful but app bulid showed me this error which I am not able to debug. Can you please help me here ?

Ryan Brown1 I also cannot build SDK 2.02.07.06 CC2650STK SensorTag example on both CCS12 and CCS10.4. Can you check if there is anything wrong with this?

Hi Gregory, Yikai,

If you do not select "Copy projects into workspace" while importing the CCS Project then the output directory will be located in C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_07_06\examples\cc2650stk\sensortag\ccs instead of your workspace. Thus the Project Properties -> Build -> Steps would need to be changed since it assumes the hex file is located at ${WORKSPACE_LOC}/${ProjName}/${ConfigName}/${ProjName}.hex and generates the binary at ${WORKSPACE_LOC}/${ProjName}/${ConfigName}/${ProjName}_oad.bin. When I copy the project into the workspace it builds without the post-build errors mentioned.
