CC2640R2F: cannot connect

Part Number: CC2640R2F

Hi team,

GATT communication, when the power-save mode is canceled, removing the external low-frequency crystal will cause the phone to not connect (connect the external low-frequency crystal, and the phone can connect)

Because customers don't need low power for their application, just communicate, they would like to know how to cancel this external low frequency crystal?

Referenced the doc to calibrating of internal RC low frequency oscillator, is it required to use a calibrated low frequency signal? If so, is there a way to divide from the high frequency 24M without sleep being needed?

According to datasheet: The 32-kHz crystal is optional. Bluetooth low energy requires a low-speed clock with better than ±500 Ppm accuracy if the device is to enter any sleep mode while maintaining a connection

It required " if the device is to enter any sleep mode while maintaining a connection", but the customer does not need to go to sleep mode, is there a way to remove this LF signal?

Please let me know if you need more info. Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry
