LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: XDS110 Not working

Hi Team,

Good day. I am posting this inquiry on behalf of the customer.

"I purchased a Launchxl-cc2640r2 launchpad. But every time I connect it to the USB port, it doesn't appear. I followed the document "XDS110SupportReadMe" and found the section: Updating Firmware Using a JTAG Connection

But on board, the header P8 is not populated. Other than that, no options work, and my debugger doesn't appear as a USB device. Kindly assist."

Hi Marvin,

Has the customer tried connecting to their IDE (CCS or IAR), Uniflash, or Flash Programmer 2? What is their computer's OS version and have they consulted XDS110 troubleshooting? From where did they order their LaunchPad?

Thank you for your prompt response. Please see the feedback from our customer.

"I ordered it from mouser. Also yes I followed the XDS110 troubleshooting, till the last topic where it says how to recover a bricked XDS110, nothing works for me. I am trying to make it work with CCS."

This is not expected behavior for the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2. They should try connecting with a different computer or ask for a replacement from their distributor.
