CC2652R7: different TX powers for individual channels

Part Number: CC2652R7

I believe our devices have only one register for setting TX power, but I need confirmation whether it is possible or not to set different TX levels for different channels. For example: CH0 to 2 dBm maximum, CH01-CH38 to 5 dBm maximum, CH39 to 2 dBm maximum, so on, so forth.

Can you please comment?

Thank you!

  • Hey Lenio,

I'm not sure you can configure different TX powers for individual channels. When the customer changes channels, they should also run the CMD_SET_TX_POWER command to set the TX power for that channel. Otherwise, I believe you will see the same txPower setting used with the radio setup command.

Please clarify if you are inquiring with regards to a stack example (and which stack), as the above statement applies to proprietary solutions and direct use of the radio.
