SubVersNr: 39445 - eSCO link not being requested by HF AG

I have a rather esoteric bug, I hope this is the right place for support.

I am trying to create an HFP audio link between a TI-powered infortainment system and a headset powered by Qualcomm QCC5127

The only information I have about the TI chipset comes from the LMP_version_res packet, it contains this data

  • VersNr: Bluetooth Core Specification 4.2
  • CompId: Texas Instruments Inc.
  • SubVersNr: 39445 (0x15 0x9a)

I hope the TI engineers can back-trace the subversion number to the BT controller FW build.

The HFP service level connection seems to work OK, but the TI device never attempts to open any kind of eSCO link, which means there's no audio in the headset.

Here is a trace of the HFP service level connection setup, if that helps
