Hello,

Q1 We are trying to prototype a product based on CC2567. I got some confused about the model number.

The module named PAN1313/1315 is not listed as supporter of BT+ANT in product catalog, in which PAN1317/1327 is defined as BT+ANT supporter.

Please tell us, which one we could order, should we need something supporting BT+ANT simultaneously.

Q2 The whole module board PAN1313ETU(1327 whatever) looks too big for our design target. What we are looking for is the tiny module on the blue PAN131x/2x module board. The one which is covered by metal shield, which is lettered "PAN1313" on it. Can we order that? Is that available on digikey?

Hi Kep,

The modules that have the CC2567 on them that support BT + ANT are the PAN1317/1327. To date, the only form factor that is offered is shown on Panasonic's website:

Dimensions are as follows:

PAN1327: 9mm x 9.5mm x 1.8 mm (width x length x height)

PAN1317: 6.5mm x 9mm x 1.7 mm (width x length x height)

Hi Kassandra,

Thanks. Guess the PAN1313 supporting ANT+ at our hand is out of date.

I've scanned Panasonic website and they are doing good with PAN131x series.

Model naming are clear now.

As you mentioned in Question 1, you need to order PAN1317/1227 because they both support BT + ANT

The ETU as you said is a complete EM board used because it is compatible with the RF1 and RF2 connectors commonly used in TI boards (so they can plug easily). You should order either the PAN1317 or PAN1327. the PAN1313 is only available as part of the ANT kit for development purposes. It is not available on Digikey and cannot be purchased separately. The PAN1317/27 should serve you just as well as the PAN1313.
