When I use the watchdog function, I set the timeout period as 1 second, but the actual situation is that after entering the watchdog timeout callback function 1 second later, the device will reset after 1 second. This phenomenon will lead to the timeout period I set as 1 second, but the actual reset time seems to be 2 seconds. Is this the phenomenon

Hello Linqian,

this is by design. Let me quote the TRM Chapter 17.2:

The WDT module generates the first time-out signal when the 32-bit counter reaches the zero state after being
enabled;

and

If the timer counts down to its zero state again before the first time-out interrupt is cleared, and the reset signal
has been enabled by setting the WDT:CTL.RESEN register to 1, the WDT asserts its reset signal to the system.
