CC2564: CC2564B HCITester -- Win10 compatible -- XML error, DTD/Schema error

FYI - I am using CC2564B, not CC2564. The forum only allows CC2546 or CC2564C as a part number.

Q1: Does HCITester v3.0.0.37 work on Windows 10?

Q2: It generates an error when trying to load TIInit_6.7.16.xml script, "XML Error at line 2: The element 'html' is used but not declared in the DTD/Schema". What is wrong and how can it be fixed?

Hi Todd,

HCITester v3.0.0.37 does work on Windows 10.

It looks like you are trying to load an .xml file as your script. Refer to Section 3 "Post Installation Requirements" of the HCI Tester User Guide for clear instructions on how to load an .xml file to change your command library, and how to load the Firmware Initialization Script (a .BTS file or .txt file) .

I selected the .xml per step 3.1. It does not parse the .xml and show the commands in the command library.

Hi Todd,

Could you send me the .xml file you are trying to load, or where you got it from? In the meantime have you tried saving the file somewhere else like your documents folder, and then load it from there?

I see what I did wrong. I had right clicked and saved the file from https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-bt/service-packs/ instead of pulling it with git.

Looks like I got something wrong with communications to the CC2564B, but the xml load and display of the commands is fixed.
