Can someone please point me in the direction where I can find some information on the API calls such as GAP_SetParamValue() and others.

The SDK includes an HTML-based API Guide. You can find it here: C:\Texas Instruments\BLE-CC2540\Documents\BLE_API_Guide_main.htm

Is it possible to view the "BLE_API_Guide_main.htm" documentation without installing the development software at all? Is there a place where I can download or view this documentation to get an idea of the API?

NO.

It is a single .exe, it is not difficult to install.

Hi Cryptoman,

You will find the TI BLE stack here. You do not have to install IAR development environment if that's what you mean.

Thanks Nick. That's what I was after. I downloaded and installed the exe. Now I can access the htm file.
