Mindtree is not responding and we need help, Gluzman diverted to E2E only today putting more pressure to get an answer TOMORROW.

Here with the status:

Started development on MSPEXP-PAN13xx BT_ANT SDK (Beta 1.0)

Philips changed the interupt vector address which significantly improved the reliabilty.

When they noticed the instability they moved to : MSP430F5438 EXP Board + PAN13xx Bluetooth SDK GA 1.0

They tested the GA 1.0 version with additional SW code, see attached file (100ms wait + toggle LED) with FreeRTOS OS tick enabled.

With this addtion they experienced:

- hang-up (at different stages of the SW)

- HCI Uart seem to stop with BT communication

- application error

- Program Counter error

Can you verify and reproduce the errors Philips has with our SDK ?

We have to have an update by July 5th!!

PS: Philips noticed that for both SW versions the BT stack is binary compatible.

Hi,

Can you please send the modifications that have been done? We will take a look at the changes that have been made to see if we can identify possible reasons for the incorrect behavior.

Meanwhile, I hope the changes have been made after going through the section "Considerations to be taken while customizing the application" in the developer's guide.

We tried some changes by adding another task, enabling tick timer etc. but were unable to reproduce the failing condition.

My guess is that the failure has to do with some other changes in the FreeRTOS configuration. Will it be possible to send the list of other relevant changes that were made to the SDK?

Thanks for your support.

My EP colleague (P.Verkennis) found that the costumer was working with a PAN1313. After replacing this with a PAN1315 the software was running. Hence problem solved.

My understanding between the PAN1313 and PAN1315 is that the difference is the service pack that needs to be used. Did your customer experience the two LEDs blinking?
