CC1352P7: Single band,Hardware RF switch for dual antenna interface design

Part Number: CC1352P7

Hi,team:

Hello! I encountered the following problems when designing products using CC1352P7, an RF chip:

1. Designing a product using CC1352P7, using + 20dbm to output Sub1G band, +14dbm to receive Sub1G band, 2.4G band not used,

two RF antenna interfaces, one to transmit signals and the other to receive signals. Do you need to use no RF switch?

2. As the first question said,If no RF switch is used, when 20dbm signal is sent, the receiving channel can receive the sent signal,

will it damage the receiving channel?

  • Hi,

    1. We would still recommend using an RF switch to avoid interaction between the two paths. You can use a 2-port switch if the 2.4 GHz path is unused, such as the RTC6608OU from Richwave.
    2. Without a switch the RX port would still not be damaged.

    Regards,

    Zack
