CC2650STK: How can I connect it to the desktop and change the firmware?

Hi there,

I am modifying the code so that 100 sensor values can be passed in 1 second in the default sdk. I am trying to compile and download to my cc2650stk board to see the result of modifying the code.

However, when I run Flash Programmer2, the computer does not recognize the sensor. I thought it was a problem with the program, so I checked it with Tera Term, but it said there was no connection value. It seems that the computer does not recognize it. What should I do?

And is it correct to use Flash programmer2 to download hex files to cc2650stk?

The dev pack lights up, but tera term and flash programmer do not recognize it. This is a picture showing it.

Hi Heerae,

The CC2650STK hardware does not include an on-board debugger, thus you will need to connect a CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG or XDS110 to program the device. https://e2e.ti.com/f/1/t/827756

I have one more question for you.
I am now modifying the code to receive more than 80 values per second via bluetooth.

In sensorMpu9250.c, I found a variable that can be seen in the picture below.

So, it was downloaded to the board after changing it to INV_LPA_80HZ instead of the default INV_LPA_20HZ.

However, when I connected it to the app, I couldn't confirm the difference.
Is it correct to change that value to receive more than 80 values per second as I want?
How can I check that the value is coming to 80hz?

From where did you get the source code and what exact change are made to the application code? Did you recompile and reprogram the device?
