CC2640: CC2340, burn firmware using UART

we see a issue with our own image. after we burn our image into the CC2340 through UART, we are unable to burn another image, we need to use the 'Flash a blank device' in the Quick start guide to flash the chip with default configuration under CCS, through SWD in order to flash the chip with a new image. may I know where we do wrong? is this because the chip is at pre-release stage?

I am looking into this, just want to confirm this is for the cc2340R5 and not the cc2640.

yes, we are using CC2340R5.

Hi Jiaquan,

I would check the ccfg.permissions, if some of the permissions such as the .allowchiperase are not allowed then you wont be able to flash a new image through the bootloader. I would check that first, if the permissions seem correct let me know to continue the investigation.
