I have used the 2540 eval tool with BTool for BLE testing.

What tool would I use for BLE 2 testing?  I see that 2640 stack.  Is there a similar tool to the CC2540EMK-USB for the 2640 stack?

    Hi,

    The CC2640 can be used with BTool for BLE testing as well. To do so, you must first flash the host_test project onto the CC2640 device, connect the device to your PC via UART/COM port, and launch the BTool application found in {SDK_INSTALL_DIR}/tools/btool/BTool.exe. You may use any CC2640 development board for this purpose.
