LP-EM-CC2340R5: Power consumption is weird

Have you evaluated a SimpleLink device using EnergyTrace before, and have you compared measurements against a precision multimeter or power analyzer?  You will need to make sure that code is free-running (i.e. no debug/JTAG interference/usage) which could explain the additional current draw.  rfPacketRx pends on packet reception, thus the radio receive current is actively drawing between 5.3 to 9 mA in accordance with the datasheet (Section 8.10).  I will further investigate the TI Drivers, however DMA and UART are not used by the rfPacketRx application code and their definitions should not greatly affect power consumption.

Thanks for your reply.

I have also tried with the project rfPacketRx_LP_EM_CC2340R5_freertos_ticlang which is located at "C:\ti\simplelink_lowpower_f3_sdk_7_10_00_35\examples\rtos\LP_EM_CC2340R5\prop_rf\rfPacketRx"

However I can't make the MCU enter into low-power mode. The original code doesn't either.

Could you please advise how to make it sleep with this project?

Those projects operate the same, the difference is that the first does not use an RTOS whereas the second uses FreeRTOS. 

You would need to time out from the radio receive command and determine an amount of time to sleep before re-starting the receive poll.  Here is documentation to further guide you:
