CC2340R5: Implementation of a Service

Hi,

In order to learn how to implement a glucose service in a device using CC2340R5, I am planning to implement a glucose service file generated using the service generator linked below in the basic_ble project.
dev.ti.com/.../ble_01_custom_profile.html

However, I have heard that the files generated by the service generator are for CC26xx and cannot be used as is in CC2340.
Could you please tell me what changes I need to make to these files in order to use them in the CC2340 basic_ble project?

    You are right, the software frameworks for both (CC26xx and cc2340) devices are different, our custom profile lab for cc2340 is in progress but will be part of the next release.

    Can you detail a bit more what part of the this lab are you interested in?

    HI Guillaume,
    I would like to implement a glucose service on a device using the CC2340R5, so it would be great if you could let me know the specific method in the custom profile lab.
    You mentioned that the next release will include a custom profile lab for cc2340, can I ask when that will be available?
    Also, are there any plans to release a sample code for the glucose service for the cc2340?

    Hi Hiro,

    The custom profile lab will be available soon, its in its final stages of development.

    To create your own custom profile, you will need to create the Profile files and save them inside the common->Profiles folder.

    Next Create a new file inside app->profile that will include a start function which will initialize and add the serivce. (this file will also hold the logic for all the callback functions)

    Then call the start function inside main.c so the service is initialized at the start.

    In regards to a glucose service, the continuous glucose monitor profile is currently available in the basic_ble_profiles project.

    Thank you for your answer.
    The CGM profile of the basic_ble_profiles project you taught me was very helpful.
    Until the custom profile lab is released, I will refer to the basic_ble_profiles project and try implementing GLS.
