Hi there,
I'm unclear on what you mean by "the burn failed". Can you be more descriptive on the failure that you're saying you see? The screenshots don't give me much information. Are you saying some units of CC2642R-Q1 are being identified as CC1352R?
If there is a concern about quality and there is a desire to initiate a customer return, please also note this page: www.ti.com/.../customer-returns.html
Raymond,
Please provide the lot trace code and package markings of the units which read 1352. Only a few examples is needed.
As stated, please feel free to initiate a customer return with the link I previously provided.
Thanks, beyond you initiating a customer return, I'm having the team look into this.
Hi there,
Quick request before we go to a customer return. A team member had a great point I would like you to try. From the above I can see that they are using the SmartRF Flash programmer 2. This has not been maintained for several years and could give the described result. Would you be able to try the units that identify as CC1352 with Smart RF Studio v2.29.0 (latest). I would expect the device to be recognized correctly. At least if FCFG1 have been populated correctly.
