Hi,

I'm using the simple central sample application to use a CC26x2R1 LaunchPad as a GATT central Device.

in the SysConfig is an option to discover devices by a certain service UUID. This service UUID is by default the TI simple profile UUID.

But I want to discover devices using a diffrent Service UUID. How can i change this to a desired custom UUID?

Hi Hannes,

the function:

SimpleCentral_findSvcUuid()

called in the simple_central.c is used to find Service UUIDs within the advertising devices

Try to adapt this function to your service ID.

Thanks for the answer! that was already helpful.

But the function you mentioned only takes 16 bit UUIDs. Do you maybe know a possibility to scan for devices by a long 128 bit UUID?

Hi Hannes,

I have not tried it with 128 bit and do not find a comparable function.

However, it should be possible to adapt the function to match 128-UUID.
