Our DUT uses your company's CC2652 chip, how to use BTool to set the TRX mode of the DUT channel?

Is there any manuals or experience to share? Please kindly share your information, thanks a lot.

you can use the host_test project contained in our SDK.

Please have a look into our manual to see how it works.

Hi Alex,

According to the link you provided, I did not see the relevant information of "advanced commands" in BTool. If we need to set payload, channel, GPRS, etc. Where can be set in BTool?

Hi ChingShiuan,

All supported commands can be found here.

HCL_LE_TransmitterTestCmd() might be a start point for you here you will start the Direct Test Mode with a predefined channel, data length and payload.

You will find the command in the blue marked sections.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your support.

In the website link you provided, there is no information about "HCI_LE_SetPhy", "HCI_LE_ReadPhy" and "HCI_LE_SetDefaultPhy". Because we want to make the DUT switch between 1M and 2M, how should we modify it in the settings (our BTool interface is as shown below)? Just need to switch between 1M/2M "Enable" and "Disable" in the settings? Or the settings in other items also need to be modified.

For TX testing I would recommend you to use the HCI_LE_EnhancedTransmitter test, were you can also set the PHY.

Hi Alex,

Currently there are the following problems,

Try to modify the BLE txPhy to 2M using the suggested item "HCI_LE_EnhancedTransmitter test", but the error "Could Not Convert All The Data In the Below Message" is displayed in the message window. What might be causing this issue?
Is there any difference between using "HCI_LE_EnhancedTransmitter test" to modify BLE txPhy and using the previously mentioned "HCI_LE_SetPhy", "HCI_LE_ReadPhy" and "HCI_LE_SetDefaultPhy"? Why is it recommended to use the "HCI_LE_EnhancedTransmitter test"

Hi ChinShiuan,

I am not sure what you want to do. However the HCI_LE_Enhanced transmitter comand will set the PHY to your desired mode and send back to back messages so you are able to perform measurements on the device.

Regarding the issue you are facing

Can you try to use the HCI_LE_TestEnd command prior to the configuration command.

Hi Alex,

We perform non-signaling measurements on CC2652, and cannot confirm whether the switching is successful when switching between 1M and 2M. Using the HCI_LE_TestEnd command prior to the configuration command, the same error message is still displayed, as shown below.

Can you please try to move to the latest

Code Composer Studio version (12.4)

and

Latest SDK (7.1)

to see whether your issues still occur on our latest Software.
