CC2650: Throughput test of CC2650 & CC2340

Hi expert,

I have some questions about the throughput of CC2650&CC2340:

Do we have exiting image of CC2650 throughput test I can flash the device directly?
What is the throughput of CC2340 & CC2650 in the real world, and can their throughput achieve 1Mbps in the real world?
I found some comments in E2E, is that correct for all CCxx devices which have the same PHY?

- Coded S=8: ~58kbps

- Coded S=2: ~175kbps

- 1Mbps: ~780kpbs

- 2Mbps: ~1366kpbs
Do we have throughput test example of CC2340 in SDK? If not, what should I do to test the CC2340 throughput?

Hi Seamus,

1- You can find the throughput example for CC2650 here: https://github.com/TexasInstruments/ble_examples/tree/ble_examples-2.2

2- The throughput mentioned are theoretical application throughput for a single connection. Such throughput can be achieved by the CC2340 when configured to do so and assuming proper RF conditions.
CC2650 only support the 1M PHY.

3- The throughput test example for CC2340 is not available for the moment. One option could be to port the example for CC2650 to CC2340.
