CC2541: Not working with CC Debugger and SmartRF Studio for RF tests

We are performing RF tests on a HM-10 bluetooth that contains CC2541 SoC by Texas Instrument company. 

The test is conducted using software called SmartRF Studio. To use SmartRF Studio, the product is connected to the CC Debugger, and the test is executed in Direct Test Mode (DTM). However, the product is not working when connected to the CC Debugger. Do you support running SmartRF Studio with UART?

(Test conditions are the same as FCC Part 15 C and EN 300 328 Conducted Test conditions)

    Hi Diana,

    To answer your question, Smart RF Studio does not support UART communication.  The Overview User Guide and Tutorial explains that the USB MCU will use the debug interface (CC-DEBUGGER) to read/write data of the SoC.  You cannot run firmware on the CC2541 consecutively with Smart RF Studio connected to the device.  You can refer to the CC Debugger User's Guide to further understand the correct debug pins which must be connected to the CC2541 for communication.
