Hi,
I need PCB design files for this dongle.
Can someone help me with it plz?
Thanks

Hi Bun Kuch
Thanks for your reply. Is there Altium design files available because all are pdf.
The 2nd thing, i have some questions regarding a circuit that is utilizing CC2540. I attached the schematic for it.
I need to know that following
Hi Ali,
Unfortunately, there are no Altium files.
1. Shield pins should be connected to ground.
2. TPD6E004RSE is the ESD protection diode we use for our reference designs and the part we recommended. Please follow this app note for the layout guide when using this part: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva680a/slva680a
Best regards,
Bun
Hi Bun Kuch
Thanks for your reply.
I am bit confused about the ESD diode.
The USB supply is 5V and CC2540 is compatible with 3.3V.
What should be the clamp voltages for ESD diode.
I only need ESD protection for datalines and power line.
Also, the shield pins should be connected directly through GND or through some component like Ferrite Bead as shown in the schematic, i sent.
Thanks
Hi Bun Kuch
Thanks again.
I forgot to mention one more thing.
In the schematic, this component has been used.
Is it alternative to the LC filtration circuit used in the datasheet application circuit?
Also, if you check the schematic, i sent you above. They also used LC circuit.
If it is alternative to all those components then i will definitely go with it.
Thanks
Hi Ali,
Regarding the shield pin, please include the inductor to ground to allow any unwanted noise to choked out. Additionally, the part you are referring to is a balun to transform the output impedance of the device to 50 ohms.
Best regards,
Bun
Hi Ali,
This is ESD Diode we use on our RF line and all reference designs but can also be used on any lines.
