CC2340R5 can succeed as a central connection to ti's chip, but fails as a central connection to other devices such as onsemi or cell phone broadcasts.

I used project basic_ble of CC2340 newest SDK and project simple central of CC2642 to test conncet.

CC2340 to CC2340 or CC2642 succeed.

Related results as follows:

2340 to 2340:

CC2642 to onsemi RSL10 succeeded:

CC2340 to onsemi RSL10 failed.

CC2340 to cell phone(OPPO) broadcasts failed.

CC2340 to cell phone(Huawei mate 20) failed.

CC2642 to cell phone(Huawei mate 20) succeed.

May I kindly ask you to share the logs "2340 to 2340", "2642 to onsemi" and "2340 to onsemi" so I can review them in details?

Can you also specify how you have built the code running on the CC2340? (SDK version, example and implemented changes)

Hello,

I used CC2340 pg 2.0 as an central role to connect to with onsemi RSL10 today, it worked.

Initial assumption is that there are some wrong things with CC2340 pg1.0 as central.

Hello,

PG1.0 devices should not be used anymore as the available software is only compatible with PG2.0.

Among others, running software on PG2.0 leads to inaccurate timings, which kind of match the initial analysis I have ran.

Please completely stop using PG1.0 material and only use PG2.0 material with SDK 7.20 or newer.
