Hi.

When the SCL pin is externally pulled low, if the I2C_transferTimeout interface is called and the timeout is set to 5000, the interface will never exit. This SCL may be pulled down by other circuits in practical application, so when calling this interface, it is hoped to quit after timeout.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

There is a workaround to this behaviour that involves changing the project's I2C.c file.

Original (lines 244-248):

SemaphoreP_pend(&(object->transferComplete), SemaphoreP_WAIT_FOREVER);

Modified:

SemaphoreP_pend(&(object->transferComplete), timeout);

Please note that this is a workaround and this modification has not been tested for timing specific cases.
