CC2640R2F: Wrong BLE packet version

Hi,

We are using LitePoint IQxstream-M to analyze device packet but the packet is determined as classic bluetooth packet.

Do you have any idea about possible root cause and how to fix it? We are using CC2640R2F 5.3 SDK.

Hi.

This is certainty unexpected. To confirm, you are running host_test on the CC2640R2 device correct? Are you running the ble4 or ble5 version? Is the protocol to analyzed configured to BLE on the lite point tester?

The customer is just use simple peripheral example, so the host test image is necessary? They are running ble4.

Hi,

Is the customer attempting to perform protocol testing through the use of a bluetooth tester? If so, then host_test should be used. Is the customer simply trying to analyze an arbitrary ble packet?
