CC2651R3: Can't find [Bootloader] Serial interface option for the family 51R in the UniFlash Tool

Hello Guys,

I was looking for a way to flash the CC2651R3SIPA using the serial port (custom hardware). But in the UniFlash tool, for the components from the CC2651R3 family, the option is not available. But it is available for other devices. Could this part be programmed via serial using UniFlash? Is there another flashing tool? Could I be doing something wrong or misundertood something?

    Hello Diego,

    I hope you are well. The bootloader serial option is no longer actively maintained; hence the bootloader option is only supported on the cc26X2R1 in UniFlash. Your best option is to evaluation the sblAppEx from https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/swra466. 

    The ROM bootloader should be the exact same between the CC26X2 and CC26X1, however pay close attention to the bootloader UART pins as they could be different.
