Hi everyone,

So, the pairing pop up window should open on mobile application whenever we are clicking on connect button press on any BLE SCANNER APP (Simple Connect, BLE Scanner apk), it should not connect to peripheral

device until pairing process is completed and after completing than it should connect to device and discover all services and characteristics. So my questions are as follows:

1) Is it possible start PAIRING process before Connection process? 

2)If yes , so how can we do it. Is there any option in sysconfig file or we need to make change in code (if yes, where)?

3) or we need to do this changes in Android application side ?

please help me .

    Hello Sandeep,

    I would suggest taking a look at the User Guide for more detailed information about paring here.

    Could you please share a bit more about why you want this specific sequence? Paring and Bonding are processes that occurs after a connection has been established. However, by making BLE characteristics authenticated, you can prevent unauthorized access to data, as described here (under the Authentication section).

    On top of that, in case the paring process is not successful, then either of the devices can decide to terminate the connection based on the user logic.
