LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1: Extend ProjectZero with another I2C sensor

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1

Hello!

I have LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1. I want to build a demo where physical sensor is polled by CC1352R1 over I2C and data obtained are sent over BLE to either smartphone with SimpleLink Starter or console app on laptop. I hope I could plug somewhere into GATT, but would hear experts suggestions.

I had not that much experience with controller itself and its SDK, so I ask experts to direct me, which examples should I study in the first place.

Thanks.

  • Hello E2E community member,

Thanks you for asking your question concerning TI's SimpleLink Devices on the E2E Forum! The subject expert who can best address your inquiry is out of office for the holidays. After returning in early January, they will review your post and provide an initial response within 24 hours.

In the meantime, I would highly recommend referencing the Custom Profile SimpleLink Academy module. The linked lab provides instructions for how to create a custom profile which sounds to be similar to what you are trying to implement. I would also suggest referring to the I2C drivers APIs and examples included with the SDK.

    Regards,
    Jan

  • Thanks, that seems to be right reading. My experience is not smooth, so I am going to ask follow-ups, but recommendation for directions was good, it's okay to close thread.
